Job: Assistant Coach

Ryan Lynady

Coach Lynady is a graduate of Ursinus College with a degree of Exercise Sports Science with a Teaching Concentration in 2014. There, he played Wide Receiver and was the Punter for the Ursinus Bears. After graduating, he joined the Central Bucks West High School Football staff in Doylestown, PA coaching Varsity Running Backs and was the Special Teams Coordinator from 2015 – 2017. In 2017, Coach Lynady decided to take on a new role as Athletic Director at Grey Nun Academy, which he had to take a step away from coaching High School Football. In December of 2020, Coach Lynady was hired by South Brunswick for Health and Physical Education at Crossroads North, which is where he is currently teaching today. Coach Lynady was very eager and fortunate to get back into coaching and was honored to coach Crossroads Middle School Track Team in Spring 2021 (currently still a part of the Track and Field staff at Crossroads) and Crossroads Middle School Football with Coach Roderiguez in the Fall of 2021. This year, Coach Lynady will have the opportunity to coach the Freshman Team.

Peter Ogrodnik

Coach Ogrodnik is a graduate of Georgian Court University in Lakewood, New Jersey. There he received a degree in general education and special education. Coach Ogrodnik currently works at Brunswick Acres Elementary School, teaching 5th grade general education. For the past 4 years, Coach Ogrodnik has worked as a defensive and offensive line coach and volunteer at Spotswood and South Brunswick High Schools. He brings a ton of enthusiasm and knowledge to the athletes during their morning off season training in the weightroom. He is thrilled for the opportunity to work as a coach for this year’s freshman class. Go Vikings!

James Noebels

Coach Noebels is a graduate of Ursinus College, where he played four years on the offensive line. Prior to Ursinus, Coach Noebels played OL/DL at Hightstown High School. He began coaching as a volunteer for South Brunswick in 2018, and has served as the Vikings’ Special Teams Coordinator and OL/DL coach for the past three seasons. At Ursinus, Coach Noebels earned degrees in English and Spanish; he also earned a Master of Arts in Teaching from Georgian Court University. Coach Noebels has taught English at South Brunswick High School for five years and lives in Hightstown with his wife and children.

Erik Trost

Coach Trost is a College of New Jersey graduate. A safety on defense, Coach Trost played for 4 years. He has coached high school football for the past 8 years. His first five years after college ball, he coached with Coach Goerge and his staff. Later, he went on to be the defensive coordinator for Notre Dame High School. The past two seasons he has coached with Coach Goerge at St. Joseph by the Sea. Coach Trost has coached the secondary on defense as well as the slots and wide receivers on offense. He will also coordinate the Special Teams for the Vikings. Coach Trost is excited to be back at SBHS. He has taught there for a number of years. Coach is a business teacher at the High School and also coaches multiple sports.

Coach Rossomondo

Coach Rossomondo grew up on Staten Island graduating from Port Richmond HS where he played LB and RB for Coach Goerge. He coached at Port Richmond from 1989-1991. He was reunited with Coach Goerge at Franklin HS in 1999 and remained with Goerge at Dayton, the previous run at South Brunswick, and St Joseph by the Sea. Coach Rossamondo also brings a wealth of experience in nutrition, strength and speed training with him to the Vikings. Coach Rossomando, a graduate of Salve Regina University, is a physical education teacher in Franklin, New Jersey.

Kevin Drakes

Coach Drakes is a Wilkes University Alum where he played football all 4 years. During his 5th year he finished his days at Wilkes by earning his MBA. Drakes played for Coach Goerge at Franklin High School where he excelled as a LB and RB. He was reunited with Coach Goerge at South Brunswick in 2013 where he coached the LB’s and RB’s and was a Business Teacher. Coach Drakes brings his high school and college football experiences as well as a wealth of technical skills back with him to SBHS. Coach Drakes and his wife Debra have 2 sons Kenneth 3 and Ryan 1 and they reside in Monroe, NJ.

Jason Goerge

Coach Jason Goerge, a veteran coach, returns for a second time to South Brunswick bringing 15 years of coaching experience to the Viking staff. He is a graduate from Franklin High School where he played under his father. He began coaching the freshman team at Dayton High School, in Springfield New Jersey in 2005. He followed coach Goerge to South Brunswick in 2012 coaching the varsity offensive and defensive lines. He remained at South Brunswick, taking over offensive play calling from 2014-2018. During those 5 years South Brunswick compiled a 46-11 record with 5 playoff appearances and 2 State Titles. The past few seasons he coached the varsity offensive line at Elizabeth High School and called the offense at St. Joseph by the Sea in Staten Island. A Kean University graduate, Jason teaches Special Education English at Elizabeth High School. He is married to Angelica and they have a son Jaylen.

Micheal Goerge

Coach Michael Goerge is returning to South Brunswick for a second time. He brings years of experience as a college football player and as a coach. He played for his father at Franklin High School and is a Rowan University graduate.. He began his coaching career at Dayton High School in 2007. In 2012 Michael moved onto South Brunswick where he was charged with the defense. Michael brings a wealth of knowledge to the Viking staff particularly on the defensive side of the ball. An avid student of the game, Michael has coached a number of positions on defense and offense. During the last run at SBHS, Michael was instrumental in putting together one of the top defenses in NJ. Michael was selected as the NJ Defensive Assistant Coach of the Year in 2015. Coach Goerge will be running the defense for the Vikings and looking to continue the success he had during his last go around at South Brunswick High School. He is a Physical Education Teacher in the Springfield School District.
